Keep them back by any means possible. Shoot fireballs at them, use your claws and fangs to tear them apart and eat them and set up a lot of deadly booby traps to kill the treasure hunter invaders. Whatever you do, do not let the treasure seekers lay their greedy little hands on your treasure.
